Contract positions definately pushed through recruitment agencies, just send CV etc to them telling them what you want. Also try using linkedin and setting up a profile stating you are looking for contract work. Depending on what sector it is and the country you wish to work try the companies that are major players in that market as these tend to be on contract hire basis.
