It's disappointing that your own work colleagues won't assist you. I wonder if someone at IOSH might be best placed to assist?

First things first, are you aware that you need to do IPD as well as CPD? Have a read of the IPD section of the IOSH website to see how IPD applies to you and the help that IOSH can offer (they are very, very helpful).

I believe there is guides on the website about how to complete CPD with IPD also required or open assessment for your CMIOSH dependant on your qualification route. IOSH are very helpful and run CPD workshops at times which I believe are very good. Also use you local branch meetings to network and gain supprot and assistance, easier to explain in person perhaps than mail.

I agree with Kate and Phil, When you achived Grad status dod IOSH contact you about starting IPD and moving toward Chartered status? CPD is fairly straightforward in my view, and should not be too onerous. IOSH do talks on this at branch meetings. IPD is another matter altogether but have a look on the website and you will get some good pointers. In addition to the folks at IOSH, Your local branch might also be able to advise and assist on both CPD and IPD. Best of luck.

I have, lasily, started my route to CMIOSH. You can book a days IOSH IPD seminar. At this session the speaker will guide you through the requirements, the pitfalls and give sound advice. I found it a useful background session, although I've not done much IPD work! I aim to get my head together in August. You can request an IPD mentor through IOSH. Good luck

Thanks all, it was nice to receive your comments which i cant stop reading. I will contact IOSH for CPD and IPD workshop. Some people might not want you to achieve the same status they had achieved. I know with the help of Jesus Christ, IOSH and self determination not to give up i will achieve CMIOSH soon. Love you all.
