It may be dated April but it's a positive step with someone publically challenging a silly decision. A leisure park down where my in-laws live go rid of the 'bumper cars' or 'dodgems' as they are now called and replace it with an ice ring. There was no information as to why but suspect the issues around H&S were in there somewhere! Mark

A departure from his usual approach of slashing HSE budgets, blaming H&S on the recession, working for an ID10T who blames H&S for the riots and harping on about red tape. I have noticed signs up at dodgems for years saying no bumping. I presume such signs make it easier for fairground workers to enforce no bumping when it gets out of hand - rather rigidly adhering to a complete ban. I think this is simply a case of Grayling trying to score points with the tabloid readership. Sorry, not to share your enthusiasm.
