We are interested in identifying and assessing fire recovery procedures - measures by companies who are brought in following a fire. We can find out what services are on offer well enough via the internet but we are looking for the codes of practice, guidance notes, government recommendations, British Standards etc. that might back up these services and the providers.

Many thanks.

Have you tried The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification... only industry standard.

Alternatively discuss with your insurance broker as they may actually stipulate who you should be using?
