I was having a discussion with one of our Project managers and he made mention of a 'Working at Height - risk triangle'. Basically it is similar to Birds Triangle; where if the risk is; 1 - then use a step ladder, 2 - use a podium, 3 - use a scaffold etc. I have never come across this one before. I tried a google search but couldn't find anything. Are any of you aware that this exists ? If so, where can I find it ?

I don't think that anybody is trying to re-write legislation!!! And other than the fact that Bird used a triangle, I suggest that that is where any similarity ends. I suspect that they are just trying to provide a piratical 'tool' for use when either considering, planning for or actually working at height. I've used my own 'tools' for various things, and it certainly isn't intended to re-write legislation, just provide a practical tool, which most if not all legislation omits or doesn't even consider.

Oops - something like a gang plank maybe? Strangely enough, piratical is not picked up by the spell checker! I must try to find a (genuine) use for the word on the forum!!!! Practical - of course!
