Can anyone point me towards an authoritative guide or checklists for ensuring that a small factory building is safely decommissioned and mothballed?

I have already got a copy of the general guidance in Sect 8 of BS 6887 code of practice for demolition, but was looking for something a bit more comprehensive.

Bob

I already had .. That's why I posted

Loads of stuff on construction /demolition but not very much on decommissioning a building and leaving it safe and secure, preventing unauthorised access, preventing vandalism and theft, protecting any trespassers from themselves and keeping it in a good condition ready to hand over to a new owner.

I guess it will be common sense so I will figure it out. I just thought someone else might have some useful tips and advice

Thanks

Gus
