I am looking at introducing occupational health assessments to comply with COSHH and Asbestos Regs. I have not dealth with Occupational Health much before so was looking for some guidance of where to look and what to look for in a provider?

My staff work on numerous sites across the UK and therefore i would be looking at the occupational health to attend the site or one of our local branches to undertake the necessary assessments.

Any guidance would be approcated

Steve in my last employment I always found our local NHS Occ Health department very good and it also gives access to Doctors and other areas such as Physiotherapy.

My current employer had used non NHS providers but I felt we did not get the same level of service or indeed expertise and we have now contracted with the NHS provision. They keep all our health surveilance up to date to comply with COSHH etc and can either see by appointment or via drop in service.
