Our company make torque measurement equipment. Recently we've taken a product first design and marketed in 2003 and rebodied it then commence to sell as new / improved (a couple of extra electricals included). My question is as it is being sold as 'new' would it fall under the RoHS remit, even though the new bits don't contain any RoHS? Your thoughts please. Badger

Badger, I doubt if it would fall under the RoHS Regs because it doesn't contain any of the listed substances. NetRegs has some useful plain English Guidance. http://www.businesslink....l&topicId=1082900339 PH2
