Hello there, I am Anand from India and I working in Silicone chemicals manufacturing Industry. The Story was one of us employee got stuck with his shirt on door handle and he reported it to EHS department as a near-miss. On our Safety committee meeting we discussed about it and my superiors decided to change the uniform with full selves shirt! So is it good on production technicians wearing a full selves shirts? V.Anand

Anand, Better go for a detaile Risk Assessment. Risk Assessment committee members should include members from top management, HSE rep etc... including worker representative

How about round knob shaped handles instead of the lever type? Then you can have whatever uniform you want.

Hello Chris, Thank you for your reply. Then we have to change all the handle in the door in my factory. the cost of the issue is getting high! My view is, if the people who are in production team,they are involving and handling Miller,Kneader, Blending,Reaction process. So this type of uniform is not suit to them but its okay for administrative people.
