Hi All, I realise this enquiry is almost certainly going to have an extremely narrow field of interest but worth the effort of a try..... I have recently been asked to assist with operational contingency planning, our offshore pipeline has recently moved over from construction to operations. Although they and I recognise gas operations is not really my field I've been asked to help so will explore as many avenues as I can. We are looking particularly at aircraft mounted leak detection systems for CH4, fundamentally gas detection but on a much larger scale. Google has come up quite a bit of information on the technical aspects and the types of monitoring, plus some useful background info, and I have also found a system developed by Eon-Ruhrgas which I am following up on. Very little of the information available however relates to offshore surveys and most of the commercial organisations seem to be US or Canada based. My question therefore is quiet simple, is there anyone on the forum who has experience in this area who would be willing to information share with me or anyone know of companies operating this kind of service commercially in continental Europe ? Many thanks in advance Best Wishes Ian

Thanks Ross, looks more like plant detection equipment rather than aircraft mounted but I've droped them a contact / info request and will follow it up. Best Wishes Ian

Ian, If you follow the link, then go to 'Gas Imaging', then 'Environmental Enforcement', it makes reference to the cameras being mounted to helicopters in the Gulf of Mexico, so hopefully they can do something similar for you. Regards, Ross
