Just a question to IOSH to pass on to/make a comment to; the HSE on my/the members behalf "Are we to get the telephone numbers for the local HSE offices back and are the HSE ‘duty’ phone numbers to be made public especially for ‘out of hours’ periods?" I ask this question because HSE telephone numbers of late have been removed/hidden - I am lucky because I already have such numbers [unless they change them again!] where 'new' IOSH members/the public may not have the numbers

There is one central number now which can be used when the HSE have finished encouraging one to report by e mail. I think this may be useful to those that travel around and therefore don't need to consider which area they are in. For the 'static' amongst us then it is a case of hanging onto the old numbers and hoping that they don't divert back to the main switch board.

TA! But the one central number is not; that I am lead to believe; for anything else but RIDDOR as it is not an opinion/advice number - Or have I been miss lead - Additionally what about people working outside the 09:00 to 17:00 position?

Hi Bob. I was under the impression that even if you managed to get through to the local office, they will now simply refer you towards the HSE website. Apologies if I have got this wrong.
