HI all,

We have a chlorine gas detection system within our water park, could somebody please provide me with details regarding the frequency of testing/maintenance of this? and if there is a BS standard relevant to this? My perception is

6 monthly calibration tests?

Should you carry out an actual monthly test also?

Cheers

Paul

Your supplier should have provided the information of course , if not available try http://www.hth.co.uk/contact.shtml good tech help and nice peeps
or IMSPA , when they were IRSM they provide good assistance on all pool related queries and should still do

Hi Slater,
the HSE has good guidance in their publication HSG 40 ; Safe Handling of Chlorine. It is free to download from the HSE publications website. It is the "industry standard" for water utilities.
