I am trying to find another large library who is willing to share their accident statistics so that our board members can see a set of comparable accident statistics. Is this something that anyone would be willing to share? Please advise N Deal

I don’t, but you could try one of the County or unitary councils. However I do suggest exercising some caution to ensure that your board are aware that any meaningful comparison of accident statistics can be difficult for a number of reasons, such as: 1. You could be comparing apples with pears. 2. Some organisations encourage the reporting of every injure no matter how minor or insignificant, while others are less stringent 3. Accident statistics generally compare the outcome rather than the potential outcome etc I am not suggesting that you shouldn’t compare, but do be aware of the limitations. You might on paper look much better or worse than your ‘comparator’ but not actually be so.
