Please take a look at the attached. You can make out the arch of a welders back (blue). He is inside a hopper and has to weld the four seems. At the bottom of the hopper there is a outlet about 100mm diameter, which is venting to atmosphere. He is welding with argon as the shielding gas. I am treating it as a confined space, but was wondering what your thoughts were? What looks like glass screens are actually open areas above the hopper. This is within a large warehouse. Thanks in advance, Wayne.
