Hospital Boy

Hi All, Just wondered what people thought regarding the Localism Bill and fire safety ,which is presently going through Parliament, proposes to reintroduce the facility for Fire & Rescue Services to charge for emergency calls to AFAs which turn out to be false alarms. It is envisaged that this will be for instances where there is a persistent problem from warning equipment that has malfunctioned or has been misinstalled. Following the Bill's progress - charging could start in 2012. After speaking with a LFB FSIO, they have been told to target hospitals throughout the capital to tackle what they deem as "unacceptable issues and responses" to UWfS. With the NHS facing ever increasing financial constraints, how will you deal with this? Be interested in your comments / views? Cheers HB
