I am carrying out a report on working at height in Fleet workshops. They do maintenance on a large Fleet of vehicles. (examples of vehicles are Gully / Jetter Wagons, 7.5 ton flat beds, winter Maintenance vehicles and travel care buses). Does anyone have any example of best practice that they have either do or have seen when it comes to Collective protection for when working at height when it involves vehicles? Thanks Rick

Rick, the HSE ran a campaign recently, there's lots of information and pictures/images, guide for managers, guide for drivers etc to help you prepare your own risk assessment: start at http://www.hse.gov.uk/fallsfromvehicles/
