Is there a requirement for a scaffold inspection course to be at least 2 days in duration, as we currently use a company that runs both a 1 day & 2 days course but both give a certificate in scaffold inspection. Please note that the managers carrying out the inspections are only inspecting very basic scaffolds around houses and small low rise blocks, generally for window and roof replacemet and minor external works and all scaffolds are inspected at handover by an advanced scaffold inspector.
Your comments will be most appreciated as this may have an impact on our future training plan together with the extra cost and time required.
Many Thanks PaulR

All I can say is that CITB courses that are endorsed by NASC last for 2 days. The course was written by CITB and NASC in conjunction. If NASC endorse the course and it is to be over 2 days, I would use this as a marker.
That is my thoughts any way

I can only concur with jarsmith - 2 days
I recieved the two day course and thought plenty of content would struggle to take it all in in one day
