I have been asked as a favour to carry out a Risk Assessment for a street party which is to be held on Hogmanay in my home town. The area is relatively well lit and electricity will be used for lighting and music on a stage. It is expected that between 500 and 1,000 people will attend including adults and children.
Does anyone have a Risk Assessment that they have already done which they would be willing to share with me rather than me starting from scratch.
Regards

I'd recommend you look at your local Council's website and see if they have a recommended format - many of them seem to.

Also look at the HSE Event Safety Guidance http://books.hse.gov.uk/...alogueCode=9780717624539

What you are planning doesn't really fall under the definition most councils seem to use for "street party" by the way so be careful of using the term. See here http://www.communities.g...unities/streetpartyguide for Govt guidance. Yours is really a "Public Event"
