I have been working with a recycling company who store and recycle lots of metal. One of the more significant issues they have is the continuous wet slippery floor from fork lift trucks continuously going in and out of the storage warehouse to the loading / un-loading yard. This inevitably leads to oil and water being brought into the warehouse area leading to extremely slippery floors. They have tried a number of options to reduce the slippiness but all are futile as the trucks still slide. The drivers of the trucks are aware of the dangers and do drive with caution and staff are kept away from moving trucks. Is there anyone else who has this problem and if so have they found a resolution?. Anti slip paints just wear away after a few days, and scouring the floor to make the surface rough just clogs up with rubber, oil and dirt after a few days. Any ideas please? Thanks
