Just looked through my many posts Brian and, while people have aired their views quite robustly on some occasions, cant really see much evidence of abuse. My question would probably be, " What benefits to posting?" I remember some years ago reading a similar football related site and it was quite vitriolic. Now that was abuse. The benefits on this site, and to sharing good practice in general, cant really be measured but are down to individual thoughts and ideas. For example, I knew where there was a good Safety job in the North West and I advertised it on Careers. I knew the Company were quite keen to get someone in quickly, and it was an ideal opportunity for someone with a bit of passion. My post got taken off (against the rules apparently) although I couldnt see the problem and strongly disagree that the mod should remove it but we live in a world where not everything goes your way so you take it on the chin and move forward. The benefits to posting far outweigh any negativity and the humour at times is on a par with Tommy Cooper but for my part I have received tons of additional knowledge thoughts and views that ordinarily I would not have access to.

The main problem with computer/ phone (texting) based communication is it can be taken the wrong way, I was not at the tail end of such so called abuse, so I cannot comment on the in's and out's of it. I feel that this is a great tool that helps us all no end.
