HI I am doing a presentation on accident investigation and I have used "the 5 bums" for the last 20 years to take the mystery out of the subject plus inject a bit of humour. The rugby post was the H and the 5 bums where the W's When i need it I cant find the slide/picture to slot into my PPP and google does not have it on their images, wow!! If anyone has one they could email me it would be much appreciated. thanks Mike

wow! haven't heard that acronym for a while! I usually get blank looks when I mention it...can't find anything on google, ask, wikie etc so you may have to make your own. On the other hand, this used to be used a lot in journalism - have you tried that avenue? Contact your local paper/journalism course at a local college and ask if they have one. Good luck.

Cheers Rob I reverted to the age old device of drawing my own. Had to buy some felt tipped panes to do it on card, took me back to my old acetate OHPs. Used it during the interview and the two HS people interviewing me had not seen/ heard and they liked it. Interview was positive now a case of wait and see.

There's a very good picture on the web of Pink Floyd's "back catalogue". Unfortunately there are six bums in that picture. Well worth a look though, maybe even worth considering the invention of a 6th Kipling "w"!!!!

A well-worn part of any Accident Investigation Course, taken from Rudyard Kipling's "The Elephant's Child": I keep six honest serving-men (They taught me all I knew); Their names are What and Why and When And How and Where and Who.
