We have electrical backup in the form of emergency generators which kick in to 50% of the supply, lights sockets etc. should the normal supply fail. Thing is where would we, if anywhere, place additional dedicated emergency lighting. I feel the guidance alters if gennies are available, and EL should need cover to hazard rooms and exits only. Any input appreciated SBH

Depends on whether you want emergency lighting (enough to still see what I'm doing, shut down plant, trade, etc.) Or; Emergency "escape" lighting (enough to find my way out of the building safely).
