Apologies if this has already been covered. We carry out various checks on our night shift workers (basic warehouse type duties) in the form of a questionairre and some basic medical checks (blood pressure, lung function, eyesight etc) by an external competent person. These tests were introduced to part of the business which required lung funtion etc but it has now crept into the basic warehouse duties as well. I understand health surveillance under COSHH and MHSAWR but can the night shift workers just be covered by just a questionairre, the reason for this is partly to do with cost but I think we are going too far in what is required. Thanks
