Hi,
Wondering if anyone is able to offer a streamline solution to a fire register document that we can use in a busy warehousing environment?
We are currently using a simple A4 sheet in a ring binder- not very 21 Century I know!
Issues;
Manual additions
Paper not being very durable
Missing registers
Requirements;
Easily transferable and accessible in the event of an emergency
Require staff- up to 20 per page to sign in/ out daily
Any one have any thoughts or interesting methods that I could look to trial that would be fantastic.

A staff register must be 100% efficient on 100% of occasions for it to be an effective tool for accounting for people in an emergency.I am reading into your post that your system may not be 100% OK.
Have you considered scrapping the register & introducing a sweep system where fire wardens do a rapid check of their designated area prior to leaving and reporting their findings to a coordinator?
This prevents the need for regular staff to book in/out, and the need for the register to be kept and bought out during an evacuation

You may wish to look at the 'Tagevac' system as I feel it is a worthwhile system for certain environments such as yours? Particularly designed for emergency use:
