Having downloaded the document and had a look through it I am sure it is all very comprehensive and accurate. I just have to ask myself: "How many of my clients health and safety people would have the time to work through all of what the document requires?" Also in many cases with the SMEs; "How many of the managers who 'look after' health and safety would even be capable of doing so?"

Unbelievable. If we were to apply this level of scrutiny and administration to all that we do, the entire economy of the Western World would grind to a halt!

"There's a flow chart and a check list and everything.
So, should we do when receiving an MSDS?
Strange, but nowhere in that substantial guide does it actually say READ IT!
That would, after all, be a jolly good start
