As all you H&S bods know we are always being linked with environmental issues I would like to know who I can use based in the North West In other words I use them to act as our competent person, and in return they ensure the company is up to date with legislation and prehaps issue a quartley update And allow me to reduce costs and efficiencies (a environmental plan) Any help I will appreciate Alan

Get hold of IEMA [on the web or try 01522 540069 or CIWM] and they will give you the North West groups details ---- you should be able to find somebody there NB: Designating an outsider as the competent person may cost you more than you think competent adviser is a better term Best of luck B
