Hi, within our facility we have the need to transfer reels of laminate onto a packing machine. For several years we have had various issues with manual reel lifters and electric reel lifters. We are now in a situation where we want to purchase new reel lifters but we would ideally need to find a ''one does it all'' piece of equipment. Our current process is: 1) Reels transferred onto stainless steel pallets in warehouse then transferred to production 2) Operator lifts reel of laminate with manual reel lifter (mandrel bar) 3) Reel is then transferred to an electric reel gripper and mandrel bar for the packing machine is inserted 4) Electric reel lifter transfers laminate reel to machine Does anyone have any info or experience with a similar process, if so please share. Cheers, Scott
