Hi all I am looking for best practice in relation to the movement of Heavy White Goods / Brown goods & Furniture up and down stairs including home deliveries. Specifically, suitable and practical handling aids - I have seen the three wheeled 'stair climbing sack trucks' and had feedback from users that they are not used due to making the job more difficult? What are other companies doing? Thanks in advance for help

Most companies and clients 'blind eye' the issue at best even where it can be quicker to use such kit so more £ can be saved in the long run There is good 'tracked' kit on the market these days so investigate the area but in the end the client and service provider need to be managed so as the best kit is used - an up hill struggle I am afraid noting that each client may only have 1 delivery off a wagon that is carrying numbers of white goods so any 'long term' gains are not felt by any individual clients
