Hello, Just a question does this sign have to be fluorescent? We have many of these signs around our site but they are just std, giving me the impression that they dont otherwise why would they make these signs? Just double checking Thanks for your help katie

No but there are circumstances where they may need to be maintained (illuminated).

it depends were the sign is located if its in a hospital it does (HTM Compliant signs) if its on a ship it does if its on an aircraft it has to be flourescent also apparantly the ones at the local nuclear power station glow but no-one knows why
