Hi
Can someone help with the following please, I would welcome some clarification on the liabilities for staff and our organisation in a situation where staff are making a non business journey but have passengers for whom this is a business journey. In some cases the driver may not necessarily be insured for business purposes. Many thanks

I am struggling to understand the scenario.
The driver isn't on a business journey, but the passenger is!? IF this really is the case, and I am struggling to see how it can be, then I wonder if you might have answered the question yourself. IF the driver is NOT on a business journey then I would think that they don't need business cover.
Could you clarify the scenario?

It sounds like the driver is on business as they are undertaking an activity for their employer and [basically] their private activity starts after the people leave their car
