I am currently looking for a solution that is 'cost effective' to removed the need for a banksman to guide the dozer driver onto the towing eye of the roller, to avoid obvious hazards such as crushing. I love the method that tractors have adapted for connecting to trailers etc. But as of yet dozer manufactures have not adopted this methodology, if any of you guys out there could point me in the direction of some guidance id be very grateful.

Regards, Martin

There are some fairly cost effective reversing cameras now available, one or two cameras and a six inch screen costs around £150-£200 plus fitting. Easy enough for a good mechanic.
Look on Amazon or Google you well find them cheaper.

As MEden380 suggested a good quailty camera will help and are easy to fit. Its the due to the tight coupling method which is why a banksman is idea. What is needed is a better coupling system with automated hitch which requires a manual lock, something like a railway carriage coupling. Its not the short term quick option but would remove the need for a banksman to stand between a moving dozer and roller.
