Can anyone recommend a company who provided accident investigation training in the north west? It is for H&S professionals so I need it to be quite detailed and thorough. Thanks

Hi Leah. Based in Greater Manchester I recently arranged for Madeleine Abas, H&S specialist solicitor, to deliver a day on Advanced Accident Investigation for H&S professionals. (Try googling for background). Not cheap of course, but spread across a dozen or so delegates it made value-for-money sense. Feedback was good - I've been in H&S over 20 years and learnt something new. However, there is also the analysis side of the H&S professional's involvement, which is different to 'investigation' (5 why's etc), and probably best covered by a different provider. I have no recommendation for this, as we sorted ourselves, improving learning via webinars, reading and 'doing'. Possibly the IOSH course covers both as it is 2 days, if they will do in-house 'oop north'.
