Some countries allow man cages to be fitted on FLTs and telehandlers for either routine or emergency access tasks at height. I think UK is one such country. Other countries I believe do not permit the practice. Does anyone know if industry practice in Ireland (RoI) 1. allows this or 2. bans it completely.

To clarify... the UK allows mancages for "exceptional" work i.e. a one-off non-routine task (as described in PM 28). My question is does practice in Ireland follow the same logic or is there an absolute ban?
