Hi Please can someone let me know what the legal implications are for the movement of fork lift trucks within a warehouse - my point is concerning the use of gas supply to the truck and any safeguards within the working environment. I know about the importance of avoiding confined spaces / good ventilation and the need to store the gas cylinders safely; but is there anything I am missing?

Is your question directly relating to the storage and use of LPG for your FLTs or general FLT use? Some of our FLTs are LPG powered, but the storage and handling of LPG cylinders is not the biggest hazard with the work (workplace transport / pedestrian movements being the largest area of risk).
