Folks I am designing a new health and safety induction checklist/module for all new employees. I want to make sure I cover everything that needs to be covered. Would anyome might sending me a a sample copy of one of theirs if possible so I can compare or give me a list of items that need to be covered. It is for offcie staff right through to welders and drivers etc. I would really appreciate your help. Eddie eddie@bpmckeefry.com

Eddy Are you going to do the same induction for all of your staff? Quote “Office to welders.” I am not sure what you hope to cover. Either it will be too general or too specialised: do the office staff need to know the intricacies of arc welder’s eye? I’d do a short basic talk about H&S in general ie why we do it and how we do it, who does what and some general stuff about fire evacuation and first aid and accident reporting and then separate units for the different types of staff, which is what I do. One size does not fit all.
