Hello folks, I wonder if anyone has any data on the number of incidents involving falls from the roof of vans (Transit type)? I know of at least one fatality which occurred in a builders yard in Scotland a couple of years ago, but cannot find any further reliable statistics - I should imagine the figures are fairly high, but probably under-reported by 'white van man / sole traders etc. I should imagine Councils and maintenance contractor organisations will have had incidents? Any advice on tracking down such stats would be much appreciated.

Largish social landlord on the south coast - no incidents of this type in the 20 years I've been here - talking around 300 trades' staff.
