Effective, value for money no hassel roof guarding

We need to install guarding around our flat roof and sky lights, can any one recommend a product that is inexpensive while effective, easy to install and durable? Or am I asking to much! The flat roof does already have edge protection but at approximately 18 inches high would not seem very effective to me accept for preventing items other than humans from falling! Thanks Linda

What kind of meterage are you looking at? We went to tender, had 5 quotes back for freestanding edge protection, I'd be happy to provide the company details that we are using, as they were considerably cheaper than some of the others. The company installed though, as we wanted it done right. Depends that your view of "inexpensive is". Have you got a budget in mind?
