I would like to get in touch with any groups that are available or events that organised that cover renewables and wind. I am due to embark on a career in the renewable energy market and wish support.

I am not sure if this is what you would be looking for but have a look at the Sustainable Homes website,
www.sustainablehomes.co.uk, they are a subsidary of housing association Hastoe. I think they have groups who are involved in renewables and also fuel poverty in rural areas. It may be worth a look.
