Hello,
I do not specialise in chemicals nor transportation so am seeking help. We used to supply 5 litre brake cleaner UN 1993 adr pack group II adr class III flammable liquid.
As i have been told by the british safety council we can only transport 1x 1litre unLimited Quantity and have come to the same conclusion we therefore do not sell it as my company wont take steps to put anything in place to go over the 1litre threshold. Also there are storage issues as we dont have fire cabinets.
Can anyone please advice that what I have said is correct as I keep having to look into this every few months as if Im not being listened to and its driving me crazy.
Thanks

UN 1993 Flammable Liquid Class 3 Packing Group II can be transported as Limited Quantity in only one litre receptacles and in a combination package of not more than 30 kg., the package needs to of good quality with the limited quantity mark. If you transport the product in 5 litre reseptacles then the packaging has to be UN approved, marked labeled in accordance with ADR. PM me if you want, and I can explain further if you require.

Might need to check the REACH regs too, from memory (not reliable therefore) if you are a supplier there are duties attached.
