I provide H&S advice to a number of small detachments of security personnel providing 24/7 security on client premises, many of those premises have a gas fired heaters and water boilers, to minimise the risks from possible exposure to carbon monoxide I have asked the client sites to provide suitable CO2 detectors to provide warning of CO2 leakage.
In my opinion this would in conjunction with proper maintenance of the gas systems provide a low cost way of reducing the risk of CO2 exposure, is anyone aware of any specific legal requirements around the provision of these detectors in commercial building?

Provision is down to risk assessment..
And I would search for CO alarm - not C02 alarm. CO2 is Carbon Dioxide.
