For PPE that is only worn as a precautionary measure (ie accessing fuse board containing asbestos), how is the PPE to be disposed of if it is less than 0.1% asbestos contaminated? Can it go as general waste, if bagged up?
Thanks in advance

Strictly speaking it is contaminated and should be treated as such just like any other ACM waste.

Unless you can prove that the PPE contains less than 0.1% asbestos I think it would be prudent to classify it as hazardous waste. I presume you mean overalls and face masks?
