Hi All, I am currently planning to emigrate to Canada next January due to the dire job situation here in Ireland. I'm just wondering if there is any short safety course i could do before i leave, just to improve my employment chances? Or am i just wasting my time? I have a honours degree and specialized in health and safety, so I have alot of knowledge in the area, just not much experience. However alot of the courses i have been looking at (i.e occupational first aid, fire safety) are way too expensive, so i don't know if it's worth the money to do them if they add nothing to my skills. Any advice would be much appreciated.
