If the building control passed a structural renovation 15 years ago , on a review can we implement changes or is the original deemed to be compliant SBH

My personal opinion on this one as there are no other replies... I would suggest that this is quite a basic question but with lots of answers. Has anything been done to the building since the renovation and sign-off? Has anything changed in the structural requirements since the sign-off? Has anything changed in the structural world (new information about certain structural materials)? Of what is the building constructed and does it need regular checking? If you are implementing changes are you altering the structure at all (eg making holes in retaining walls)? As I said, my opinion and I think before you get a better answer from someone better acquainted with renovations etc you will need to provide some more information about exactly what it is you are trying to achieve.

i would think that there are alot of regulatory changes that would have come into effect within the last 15 years that would affect the building and the safe opperation.
