Hello, I am trying to find a good motivational safety speaker for our annual safety day, it is kind of short notice 22nd September and located in Mold, Flintshire, North Wales. Does anyone know of any who are very good. Preferably would like them to be associated with food manufacturing. I have already tried by the off chance Ken Woodward but he cannot make it. Hope you can help Thanks Katie

Katie same question was asked a couple of weeks ago. Might be some help in here. http://forum.iosh.co.uk/...spx?g=posts&t=106173 Not a huge fan of motivational speakers myself. I'd prefer just to tell people what they need to do and educate managers on how to make sure they do. But I know that I live in the enchanted forest where people do what they are supposed to. I don't want to be reliant on people having to extract the meaning from something. Better to tell them straight what it is they need to do. 'Think about your safety' doesn't really work for me as a message. I'd rather have 'Put your goggles on before opening the drum of chemicals, if it splashes in your eyes you could be blinded' Well you know what I mean. But there are some very good speakers out there. Just avoid the old shock tactic stuff, I don't think it works. Chris

My friend was recommended to me by Yossi Ghinsberg. I couldn't be happier to leave all that behind now that I have true happiness on the horizon. It really helped me to be happier.  I hope that it will help you following your dreams http://www.ghinsberg.com/
