after reading a fair few posts on here i am getting a little worried, i hold my NGC and level 5 NVQ, just finishing construction cert and sit my oil and gas cert exams next week, also study the NEBOSH env dip (finish by june hopefully) and shall be doing my lead auditor 18001 course later this year. i hold GradIOSH status and looking at chartered next march. so many employers are asking for so much for there money! hseq manager paying 25-30,000 a year???crazy!!! i have been working on contract roles on new build power stations and not working for less than 20 per hour! very lucky i guess! a little worried about the wage drop i am going to have to take once finished. this is now such an overcrowded market. having to look at abroad work in places like iraq etc just to make it worth while.
