We normally use small light weight drill rigs on Polaris 6 wheel vehicles (cross country low impact vehicles), however, we are due to do some work in the North York Moors which will require possible shallow drilling (2m) on slopes with hand held augers, some people call them 'wagon wheels' due to the shape of the frame that is used for supporting the drill equipment. Apart from doing the risk assessments, has anyone experience of this type of work/equipment? I would appreciate some advice/specific procedures and past experience, good or bad. StuartR
