Hello there I was wondering what / if other organisations use in the way of H&S IT systems for active monitoring records, recording responsibilities and competencies, audit action monitoring and assigning safety actions to relevent persons in the organisation. We have a H&S system in our organisation which we are reviewing and so will be looking around the market for others, just looking for ideas here! It is accessible to the whole company so it has to be basic but like a big database! Any thoughts or ideas shared are appreciated. Sarah 1st post - I did look for a suitable topic but couldnt see one! :-)

Sarah Do you have IT bods? You can do something like this with an SQL database in Microsoft sharepoint. If Lotus notes is the company email system it also has the capabilities to be used as a Corrective Actions database with the additional benefit/curse of automatic email reminders for your victims/colleagues. Have used them , don't know how they work. Kind regards Jeff
