Morning All, I'm looking for information and/or opinion on Electronic Permitting Systems. All opinions are welcome, however, specifically, I'd like to hear from those who have used or are using them. Information that's important to me is what the benefits are compared to the standard paper version. Obviously, I'm interested and looking to formulate a business plan for same and I'm at the earliest stages in this process. I'd like to get some product names, if the mods will allow. I can say that any product mentioned will be thoroughly researched and compared like-for-like with other market brands. If there is a problem mentioning names then please PM me directly with information. I'm working in pharma so that may be a factor and lets assume that money isn't a factor (at least for now, even though it is... and always will be). Thanks Mick

So... nobody has an electronic permitting system then. I know that I've never used one myself and that mostly, in construction, they are a simple, well organised structure for getting work done in a co-ordinated manner. Construction work in a live facility is a different matter though and waiting around for a "client" designee to sign a permit can mean that workers are waiting around wasting time & money. Mick

In constuction there is a number of systems, one being tried by us at the moment is > priority one, this system can be adapted for many needs in the industry.
