Hi all - your advice on this please. Following a recent review on assessment for manual handling in the showrooms (my decision following conversations with managers on updates) it has come to light there is a need for use of skates and / or sack trucks for the moving of some of the oak furniture in the showrooms. Whilst they have received manual handling training to a basic level for the very minimum need to move furniture (the showroom is for show only, no furniture is sold from the site - its all ordered) there is sometimes a need to move the ranges around which identifies the need for equipment., Can anyone recommend sack truck / skates for the purpose of moving oak furniture ? Any recommendations or suggestions welcome.

Depending on the surface the furniture is being moved over, you might want to have a look at 'Furniture Sliders'. They are cheap (around £10 for a set of eight) and very simple to use.
