Dear all

Could you tell me if Co2 extinguishers are subject to annual tests the same as all other extinguishers? I am checking this as I am aware that the intervals of extended service is different for Co2s to all other extinguishers. If you could direct me to the guidance for Co2s also it would be fantastic.

IMHO then in answer to your first question yes; and with regards to your second question then refer to BS 5306 - 3

Yes they are.

Confusion comes about because they don't have gauges and can last 20 years or more.

To be honest if you have a service contract they will just come and swap it for another one. Or at least my supplier does.
